Happy New Year... Bring on 2016 ("Catch Up" Series)

Happy New Year form Mikayla and Audrey!!!

This New Year's Eve we went out to dinner and these little girls were so great!  They let us enjoy a great dinner and then we headed home to veg out and await all of the fireworks!  It was about 11:55 and the fireworks had already lightly began in the neighborhood!  We turned the TV on to watch local and national coverage... and then, EXPLOSION!!!  Mikayla had a blowout that went from her front to her back!  Mike hustled and quickly ripped the onesie off of her, changed her diaper and wiped her down with literally less than a minute to spare!!!  We were able to share kisses and snuggles with each other and the girls as the clock struck midnight!

What a whirlwind of a year for the Gonzales household!  These girls are the most difficult, at times, but most definitely the most rewarding aspect of our 2015!  I can only imagine what 2016 has in-store for us!!

Ho Ho Ho! Our 1st Christmas ("Catch Up" Series)

Wishing You a Very Merry Christmas

Candy canes, tinsel and baby snuggles!  This is what our Christmas consists of this year! :)  I absolutely LOVE the holidays!  I love everything about them!  The excitement, the celebration, the reason for the season, the gifts, the hustle and bustle and now... I have an entire new reason to love the holidays... my sweet babes!  With their birthday only a week before Halloween, my holiday season just became a WHOLE lot more sweet! :)

Although I know that in the coming years, this time of year will mean added fun and excitement, this year it meant a bit more stress and a lot less sleep! O_o  Although I was on maternity leave, Mike had a few shifts here and there that he had to head back into work for that he was unable to get off; Christmas Day was one of them.  I headed over to my parents first thing in the morning and spent the majority of Christmas Day with my parents and my sisters!  The girls were also officially a whole two months old on Christmas Day which was wonderfully bittersweet too :)

I have to say that our Christmas was so beautiful and blessed... and Lord knows these girls received so many wonderful things!  Some things they needed, other things were just too cute and I know their aunties and their grandparents couldn't resist! :)

Our new family ornament from my sister!  I cannot believe that one Christmas is already under their belt!

Grandma & Grandpa time xoxoxoxoxo

All of this Christmas excitement and attention is tiring!  They slept so well at grandma & grandpa's house!  They napped for most of the morning while we opened gifts... I'm thinking it will be different next Christmas! :)

My older sister had come to my house before heading to my parents house to help me make the drive to La Vernia.  The drive was going to be about an hour so having her relieved any anxiety wrapped around "what the hell do I do if the girls start screaming 10 minutes into the drive?" LOL

^--- This is my little who helped me on the way home! :)  She was snug as a bug in-between the girls in the backseat!  The girls slept soundly all the way home! :)

Until next year and there 2nd Christmas... Merry Christmas to all and to all a Goodnight!
